You have to try and remember, Mid,
You're a Cat and not a Kitten !
Your bones are brittle
Your muscles are thin
Your teeth are going,
You really can't win!
You've chewed your last bone
You've climbed your last tree
All you can do now
Is cuddle with me!
But at heart you're a kitten
Still chasing the air
Playing with a feather
That's drifting out there.
So long may you live
And have lots of fun
Be a Cat or a Kitten
Forever be young!
